DIY Spring Muffin Wall Hanger

This DIY Spring Muffin Tin Wall Hanger is another inexpensive, easy craft that I made to use as Easter and Spring Decor.

Dollar Tree has Muffin Tins that are awesome for DIY crafts to make as decor, resell or give as gifts for Easter and spring. I was able to make 7 very inexpensively and sell 6 for a profit.

Plus, the one I kept was a perfect addition to our Spring decor.

*check Dollar Tree, Hobby Lobby, Walmart or Amazon for best prices depending on availability and region.

**I tend to buy supplies I use often like flocked bunnies, chicks, floral picks and ribbon on sale at the end of the season to save for the next year. I also use coupons and rewards, so I rarely pay full price for my craft supplies. Keeping costs low keeps prices low and passes savings on to customers!

Paint Muffin Tin

Using Spray Paint or chalk paint, paint the top of the muffin tin with two coats of vintage off-white or cream paint and let it dry. Once the muffin tin is dry, lightly sand the edges to give a distressed look.

Arrange and Glue Spring Objects

Arrange Spanish moss in the bottom of each of the 6 muffin holes in the tin. Then arrange spring objects such as carrots, bunnies, nests, eggs, birds, flowers, etc. on top of the moss in each of the 6 muffin holes.

Once I liked how the muffin tin arrangement looked, I used our heavy duty glue gun to glue down the moss and then the objects, being careful not to leave any glue showing. Once dry and secure, shake off the excess moss to see if there are any holes that need filled with more hot glue and moss.

Secure a Bow

The final step is to create a bow using ribbon, attach it through the hole at the top of the muffin tin and knot it on the back side to create a hanger for the Spring Muffin Tin Wall Hanger.

Spray with a protective clear coat if you plan on using the finished product outside.

Thanks for stopping by. Happy Easter!
